Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Our engineering team is small, which means what you ship is visible in the operations dashboard the same day. You will work across the customer website and app, the mechanic app, and the internal operations tooling that allocates jobs, prices services and settles payouts.

What you will do

• Design, build and ship features across React front-ends and Node.js / Python services.
• Work directly with operations to turn a real bottleneck into a shipped system.
• Own reliability for what you build — instrumentation, alerts and on-call sanity.
• Write code that a teammate can safely change six months from now.
• Care about page speed, SEO health and mobile performance — most of our users are on a phone on mobile data.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years building production web applications.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript, React and Node.js fundamentals.
• Comfortable with relational or wide-column databases, caching and queues.
• Able to debug a production issue from logs and metrics rather than guesswork.

Nice to have

• Python, React Native, or server-side rendering experience.
• Exposure to marketplace allocation, pricing systems or payment reconciliation.
